American Gut Fecal Results: What’s in our Guts?
So here are our American Gut fecal results. I’ve also posted them as a blog (Fecal Bacteria Results) because I was getting email comments. I figured it’s best for everyone to read, so I made it a blog post as well. If you want to leave comment you can do so on blog page. If you want to email, that works as well.
The paranoid part of me has been against posting – but the part of me that quests for answers decided it is best. I’m hoping to share – especially with others who have food allergies, asthma, and/or eczema. I wonder what answers lie in the landscapes defined below. Quite frankly, I’ve overwhelmed myself at this point with frantic research – wishing my brain the processing power of a mainframe – so that I could sift through and have an “Aha!” moment that would give me my next move towards healing my son.
Please post below or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you have observations, your own results to share, or just any insights. I can be a bit inconsistent with that email, so post below “HEY emailed you,” if you don’t hear from me in a reasonable amount of time.
Here are our results. What is most interesting to me is – well many things – but that my son’s profile is similar to someone in their 60’s – as is pointed out in the age scatter chart. I also find it somewhat alarming – how deep into the western scattering we are. We are uber western in our landscape profiles. At any rate, this will be a discussion for me from now on – but I wanted to post.
Couple things about us:

Me – Tendency towards RA – sore joints, diagnosed Reynaud’s syndrome, 2 years past MRSA infection
