food allergy & asthma resources

Food Allergy and Asthma:

Dr. Li’s Clinic (FAHF-2 and ASHMI originator):

We have worked with Dr. Li both for food allergies and asthma.  I would suggest reading this post on FAHF-2, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Food Allergies   as well as reading Food Allergies: Traditional Chinese Medicine to help gain a deeper understanding of the process.  This treatment in my opinion is the closest thing out there to a cure, but it demands patience and adherence to the protocol.

Food Allergy Desensitization:

Dallas Food Allergy Center

Dallas Food Allergy Center (DFAC) is the food allergy specialty practice at Dallas Allergy Immunology. We are one of the few practices in the country that offer a breakthrough oral immunotherapy program for kids with food allergies. Our treatment provides a long-term solution for wheat, egg, peanut, tree nut, and milk allergic patients. It is usually takes less than 6 months, and at the end of the program, most patients with allergies to wheat, egg, peanut, tree nut, or milk are able to consume these foods with no allergic reaction.

Where to Buy:

We buy so many niche, organic, supplemental foods and such that price comparing is a huge deal for me.  These links are affiliates.  By clicking through and buying, and/or using promo codes, I get a tiny portion of the sale (it doesn’t cost you anything).  This is a great way to say “thanks” if anything on this site has helped or inspired you.

The Vitamin C we use.  We’ve tried dozens of vitamin C types – and done to bowel tolerance.  This vitamin C is by far the best.  We’ve used it to overcome MRSA and reduce IgE levels (thereby reducing steroid use and allergy misery).

Amazon

Amazon I usually search through amazon as a way to compare prices.  I have bought my bigger ticket items:  food dehydrator, some supplements, books, juicer, slow cooker…

iHerb

I buy Kirkman Labs & Thorne Research vitamins here, as well as other things way cheaper than at Whole Foods (like YS Organics Honey which we love).  Use code LDD500 to get up to $10 off on your first purchase at iHerb.
